Preservation & Restoration

Over the past several year’s we have taken on many tasks  effecting repairs to our church building.

Many have provided the funds,  donation of supplies and or their labors and talents.

 Our Fellowship Hall floor has been repaired and resurfaced. Kitchen cabinets restored and a new tile floor installed.

The alarm system repaired and upgraded

Two sides of the bell tower have been re-pointed and if all goes as planned, work will continue in the spring on yet another side.

We replaced our 83 year-old furnace with a new and efficient one, and as required under government codes contracted to remediate the asbestos.

New energy efficient light fixtures were installed in our kitchen, lavatories & Fellowship Hall

The 85 year-old double hung windows throughout the building have been replaced with air tight,

double-layered insulating windows

Emanuel needs your help in continuing with preserving its now 85 years old edifice. Time and the elements take their toll and we face continued care in maintenance and repairs.
